Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tangier & Transfer to Fes

Arrive in Tangier, where your adventure begins. After a warm welcome from your guide, you’ll begin your journey south towards Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. Along the way, pass through charming towns and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel across the northern part of Morocco. Upon arrival in Fes, you will check into your hotel and have time to relax or enjoy a brief exploration of this fascinating city.

Day 2: Full Day in Fes

Today, enjoy a full day exploring the imperial city of Fes. Start with a visit to the Fes el-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can wander through narrow alleys and bustling souks. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world, and the Tanneries, where traditional methods of leather production are still practiced. Explore the Bou Inania Madrasa, a beautiful Islamic school with stunning architecture, and visit the Royal Palace. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the heart of Fes.

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, set out for the Sahara Desert. Arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara, you’ll take a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Day 4: Merzouga to Todra Gorge & Dades Valley

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert dunes before returning by camel to Merzouga. After breakfast, drive toward the Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders. Marvel at the towering limestone cliffs and enjoy a short walk along the river. Continue through the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” This picturesque area is home to traditional kasbahs, stunning landscapes, and Berber villages. After exploring the valley, head to your hotel in the Dades Valley to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 5: Dades Valley to Ait Ben Haddou & Ouarzazate

After breakfast, continue your journey toward Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient village is a beautiful example of Moroccan earthen architecture and has been featured in several films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Take time to explore the maze of narrow alleyways and mud-brick buildings. Next, visit Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you can visit the Atlas Film Studios or the Taourirt Kasbah. Afterward, continue your journey over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech to Tangier

On your final day, enjoy a morning exploration of Marrakech.
