You’ll arrive in Merzouga by the afternoon, where you’ll check into your desert hotel or riad for the next two nights. After you settle in, prepare for your first desert experience: a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Enjoy the stunning Sahara sunset as you ride your camel through the golden sand dunes. Overnight: Desert Camp in Merzouga
After a night under the stars, wake up early to experience the magical Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you’ll have the entire day to explore the Merzouga area. You can choose from various activities such as:
Visit to Khamlia Village: Meet the local Berber people and experience their culture through music, dance, and a taste of traditional life.
4×4 Desert Adventure: Take a 4×4 tour to explore the vast dunes and the surrounding desert landscapes, visiting sites like Lake Dayet Srji (a seasonal lake known for birdwatching).
Sandboarding: Try your hand at sandboarding down the dunes or simply relax in the desert, enjoying the stunning views.
