Day 1: Fes to Merzouga

Start your adventure with a scenic drive from Fes to Merzouga. The journey takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its alpine architecture, and Ziz Valley, where you’ll witness beautiful landscapes of palm groves and kasbahs.

You’ll arrive in Merzouga by the afternoon, where you’ll check into your desert hotel or riad for the next two nights. After you settle in, prepare for your first desert experience: a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Enjoy the stunning Sahara sunset as you ride your camel through the golden sand dunes. Later, arrive at a desert camp, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. The peacefulness of the desert at night offers a rare and unforgettable experience.

Day 2: Exploring Merzouga and Surroundings (Full Day in the Desert)

After a night under the stars, wake up early to experience the magical Sahara sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you’ll have the entire day to explore the Merzouga area. You can choose from various activities such as:

  • Visit to Khamlia Village: Meet the local Berber people and experience their culture through music, dance, and a taste of traditional life.
