Itinerary

Day 1: Fes to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, depart from Fes for your journey to the Sahara Desert. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture, and Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes.

Continue your drive toward Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Upon arrival, you will check into a desert hotel or riad. In the late afternoon, embark on a camel trek into the dunes to experience a breathtaking Sahara sunset. Afterward, you will spend the night in a desert camp under the stars, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and listen to Berber music around the campfire.

Day 2: Merzouga to Dades Gorges

Wake up early to witness the Sahara sunrise over the dunes, a truly magical experience. After breakfast, return to your hotel and begin your journey toward Dades Gorges.

You will pass through Rissani, a historical town known for its souks, and continue along the Tafilalet Oasis, the largest oasis in the region. You’ll then drive through the Ziz Valley, with its expansive palm groves and kasbahs, before reaching the Dades Valley.

Upon arrival at Dades Gorges, you can explore the dramatic gorge, known for its towering cliffs and lush green valleys. You will check into your hotel or riad for the night and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 3: Dades Gorges to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah to Marrakech

After breakfast, continue your journey toward Marrakech. On the way, you will stop at the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic locations. The kasbah, made of clay and adobe, has been featured in numerous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Take time to explore the kasbah and learn about its history and architecture.

After your visit, you will continue on to Marrakech, passing through the High Atlas Mountains with their stunning views and picturesque villages along the way. You will arrive in Marrakech by the evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad to relax.

Day 4: Full Day in Marrakech

On the final day of your tour, explore the vibrant city of Marrakech. Begin your day with a visit to the Bahia Palace, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture, and the Saadian Tombs, the final resting place of the Saadian dynasty. Next, head to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, before strolling through the peaceful Majorelle Gardens.

In the afternoon, visit the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, the heart of the medina, where you’ll find street performers, food stalls, and an array of local life. You can also explore the nearby souks (markets) to shop for Moroccan crafts, spices, textiles, and more.
