
Your adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy stunning mountain views, Berber villages, and winding roads over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, famous for its adobe architecture and movie appearances in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s “Hollywood,” before heading to the Dades Gorges for your overnight stay in a charming hotel or riad nestled among dramatic rock formations.

After breakfast, visit the impressive Todra Gorges, a narrow canyon with towering cliffs perfect for hiking and photography.
Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, and then to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Mount your camel and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets over the desert.
Arrive at your desert camp for a traditional Berber dinner and music around the campfire beneath a starry sky.
Overnight: Desert camp in Merzouga.
Wake early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, spend the day exploring the desert at your own pace.
Optional activities include:
A 4×4 desert tour visiting remote areas and the village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music.
A second camel ride across the dunes.
Visiting nomadic Berber camps to learn about desert life.
Return to your camp for dinner and live music under the stars.
Overnight: Desert camp in Merzouga.
After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and begin the return journey to Marrakech.
Stop at Rissani to visit its colorful souk, then drive through the lush Draa Valley filled with palm groves and kasbahs.
Cross the High Atlas Mountains once again before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
