FES
After enjoying breakfast at your riad in Fes, we will set off on an incredible desert experience. Our journey will take us south towards Merzouga, where the desert awaits. Along the way, we’ll make a quick stop in the charming city of Ifrane, allowing you to take a breather and soak in the picturesque surroundings.
Continuing our drive, we will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and have a stop at a cedar forest. Here, you will have the chance to observe Barbary apes in their natural habitat. Afterward, we will pause for a satisfying lunch at a restaurant en route, ensuring you have the energy to carry on.
As we progress, we will enter the captivating Ziz Valley, famous for its abundant palm tree oasis. You will be able to witness the beauty of this lush landscape before we make our way to the desert.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at the desert, and your authentic camel caravan experience will commence. Traverse the mesmerizing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi atop your trusty camel. During the trek, we will pause to witness a breathtaking sunset from a high dune, creating a truly magical moment.
Continuing our camel trekking experience, we will reach a luxury camp. Upon arrival, you will be shown to your own private tent, allowing you to relax and freshen up. Once evening falls, a delicious dinner will be served, providing a taste of local cuisine. Gather around a cozy bonfire under the starry sky, where our camp staff will entertain you with lively drumming and enchanting Berber music. Today, waking up early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi is highly recommended. After a tasty breakfast, you can choose to either ride a camel or join a 4×4 vehicle for the journey to Merzouga. Your guide/driver will be ready to take you on the next part of your tour to Dades Gorge.
During the trip, you will have the chance to explore fascinating places, such as the traditional market in Rissani (if you visit on a market day – Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). You will also have a delightful stroll through the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you can admire the picturesque views of the Todra River.
As we continue towards Dades Gorge, be prepared to be amazed by the incredible rock formations resembling monkey fingers. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Dades Valley, taking in the panoramic beauty of the Gorges before reaching your hotel for the night. Rest comfortably in a lovely hotel, ensuring a peaceful overnight stay.

ERG CHEBBI
On the final day of your 5 day Morocco itinerary, we will start by driving towards Ouarzazate, a city often called the “Hollywood of Africa” and known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” While there, you can decide to visit Atlas Studios, the largest film studio in Morocco. It is an opportunity to explore famous movie sets and gain insight into the filmmaking process.
Once we have explored the studios, we will head to Ait Ben Haddou. Here, you will have the chance to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been featured in many movies, including “The Gladiator” and “Lawrence of Arabia.” Take your time to explore this historic site, marveling at its intricate architecture and exquisite decorations.
After a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our journey across the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, soak in the breathtaking views of the landscape. Finally, in the late afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech, marking the end of your 5 days Morocco itinerary.
